Stocks of capital goods companies are expected to trade in a narrow range next week, in the absence of major triggers and as the outlook for the sector remains muted in the near term. Currently, most of the infrastructure activities are moving at a slower-than-expected pace due to higher financing cost. Not much is expected for the capital goods sector in the next few months. Shares of sector bellwether Larsen & Toubro Ltd are seen gaining marginally due to news or order wins by the company. Long-term investors are likely to avail of the steep decline in the L&T stock and buy into it at current levels.
