Pharma Stocks Outlook For The W eek - 14 To 18.01.2019
Stocks of pharmaceutical companies are likely to extend their gains next week as investor focus shifts to earnings for the quarter ended December and management's commentary for earnings in 2019. We expects moderate domestic growth for drug makers, while it sees growth in the US picking up pace in the December quarter. Last week, pharmaceutical companies' shares outperformed the benchmark Nifty 50 index. The Nifty Pharma index rose 1.3% this week as compared to 0.6% gains in Nifty 50.
Cues from the broader market are expected to lend support with benchmark indices likely to log moderate gains next week.
