* ADANI POWER: Promoter Vinod Adani has acquired 7.5 mln shares, or 0.31% stake, of the company through market purchase at 44.50 rupees a share.

* ASIAN GRANITO: To invest around 3 bln rupees to expand capacity through setting up network of contract manufacturers in 2013-14.

* BARTRONICS: Receivables from customers at 8.8 bln rupees as on Dec 31; company faces winding up petition in a court from a creditor.

* BHARTI AIRTEL: Has started the process to sell up to 25% stake in its direct-to-home television arm; eyes $250 mln-$300 mln from stake sale. Company is looking to divest 20-25% stake in its direct-to-home business.

* FCS SOFTWARE: Has allotted 180 mln shares on warrant conversion to SLG Softech.

* KINGFISHER AIRLINES: Airports Authority of India has asked the airline to vacate all the office space it occupies at various airports across the country. Close to 500-550 employees have left the company over the past four-five months.

* LARSEN & TOUBRO: Has entered into a pact with Belgian company CMI Energy to extend the licence territory for manufacturing and supplying heat recovery steam generators for gas turbines below 80 MW to South East Asia and West Asia .

* MAHINDRA HOLIDAYS & RESORTS INDIA: Has received bids for 9.03 mln shares for its offer for sale at an indicative price of 272.77 rupees per share.

* MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA: Has resumed production at its Nashik unit after the company assured its workers it would finalise a new wage settlement by Apr 15.

* MULTI COMMODITY EXCHANGE: NYSE Euronext's plan to offload its stake in the company through block deals on Thursday failed to go through due to poor investor interest.

* MOTHERSON SUMI: Holding company Samvardhana Motherson International has initiated talks with private equity funds to raise 8.25 bln rupees to repay debt and fund expansion.

* NOCIL: Has started commercial production of rubber chemicals at its new  greenfield plant at Dahej, Gujarat .

* PENINSULA LAND : Aditya Birla Group's real estate fund to buy 50% stake in the company's 30-acre Pune township project for over 1.15 bln rupees.

* PSL LTD: Has approached banks to rework on its 46 bln rupees worth of debt through the corporate debt restructuring mechanism.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Seeks government nod to lay a pipe-track through the Jamnagar special economic zone to connect its domestic refinery with the 200-bln-rupee plant.

* SPECTRUM FOODS: Has received a term loan of 174 mln rupees from STATE BANK OF INDIA to set up salt refinery of 100,000 tn per annum along with a wind turbine of 2 MW.

* TATA POWER: Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam contests the company's claim for a hike in tariff produced by the Mundra Ultra Mega Power project.

* WIPRO: Its information technology, consulting and outsourcing arm has launched Wipro AssureHealth platform in partnership with Microsoft Corp.
