* AUTOMOTIVES: India may allow import of at least 250,000 cars from the European Union at a concessional tariff of 10%.

* AVIATION: Domestic air traffic in India dropped 9.1% on year in February.

* DIVESTMENT: Disinvestment department to meet steel ministry and Rashtriya Ispat officials next week before starting the process for the company's IPO.

* MANUFACTURING: Government has re-constituted a committee to accelerate manufacturing and boost exports of micro, small and medium companies.

* MEDIA: Broadcasters' body has moved Supreme Court against the stay by high courts of Gujarat , Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka on implementation of phase-II of cable television digitisation in eight cities in the states.
