* ASHIANA HOUSING: Plans to launch a 10.65-acre group housing project at Halol in Gujarat soon.

* BHARTI AIRTEL: Supreme Court has ordered status quo on 3G roaming pacts after the company challenged telecom department's order asking it to stop providing 3G services through intra-circle roaming pacts in seven circles.

* CAIRN INDIA: Is hoping to get back the relinquished area of the Barmer oilfields for exploration. The company is keen to start city gas distribution in Rajasthan as it sees huge natural gas potential in its block.

* COAL INDIA: Is planning to deliver extra coal, which it would produce this year and in the next few years, to power companies. Is expecting to recover unpaid dues amounting to 20 bln rupees from NTPC and remains positive of coming up with an amicable solution on grading quality of coal.

* DR REDDY'S LABORATORIES: Is being sued by US-based Purdue Pharma and Transcept Pharma over an alleged infringement of patents on anti-insomnia
drug Intermezzo.

* GHCL: A committee of creditors of SC GHCL Upsom SA, Romania , has accepted the 6-mln-euro bid made by Aloref SRL in association with Ascom International. SC GHCL Upsom SA is a subsidiary of Indian England NV, which in turn is a subsidiary of GHCL.

* INDIAN OIL CORP: Paradip Port Trust has initiated talks with the company for setting up an LNG terminal at the port.

* INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK: Government of India's stake in the bank has increased to 73.8% from 69.62% following a preferential allotment to the government.

* INFO EDGE ( INDIA ): Has invested an additional amount of 25 mln rupees in online financial products distributor Etechaces Marketing and Consulting.

* JAI MATA GLASS: Board has approved sale of scrap of plant and machinery.

* ROYAL ORCHID HOTELS: Company's agreement for operating a hotel at Ahmedabad has expired on Mar 31.

* SHIPPING CORP OF INDIA: Will get possession of six vessels following the termination of its joint venture with Irano Hind Shipping Co.

* SHRIRAM TRANSPORT FINANCE: Is planning to raise 250-bln-rupee debt this fiscal, including 10 bln rupees through nonconvertible debentures this quarter.

* STATE BANK OF INDIA : Has ruled out any reduction in loan rates at least till the RBI announces its monetary policy for 2013-14 (Apr-Mar) on May 3.
