* ADANI PORTS: Has said it has complied with the applicable rules.

* AHMEDNAGAR FORGINGS: Foreign fund house Copthall Mauritius Investments Ltd sold its entire 4.38% stake in the auto component manufacturer on Thursday.

* BPCL: Anadarko Petroleum Corp, the operator of the offshore block in Mozambique , in which VIDEOCON INDUSTRIES and the company are partners, has announced a new gas discovery.

* CAIRN INDIA: Has requested the oil ministry to restore areas in the Barmer block surrendered by the company for further exploration. Plans to invest 50 bln rupees in its Rajasthan oil field in three years ending 2016.

* CIPLA: The Department of Pharmaceuticals has rejected a review petition against an order by the pricing regulator to slash prices of DytorPlus drug.

* COAL INDIA: Plans to step up its production through extraction of 2-3 bln tn of reserves locked in as pillars at around 200 underground mines.

* CORE EDUCATION: Promoter Wisdom Global Enterprises bought 500,000 shares in the company from the open market for 29.96 mln rupees.

* CROMPTON GREAVES: Approves merger of CG-ZIV Power Automation with self.

* DECCAN GOLD MINES: Arm Deccan Exploration has been granted the terms of reference for the proposed 2,000-tn Ganajur gold ore unit.

* GRINDWELL NORTON: Will merge with itself three group companies--Saint-Gobain Sekurit India , Saint-Gobain Crystals and Detectors India and SEPR Refractories India.

* HCL INFOSYSTEMS: Has said it has got a contract from Chhattisgarh Infotech and Biotech Promotion Society to supply laptops.

* HMT: Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved a 10.80 bln rupee revival plan for the company.

* INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK: Has issued notice to take over two properties of DECCAN CHRONICLE HOLDINGS' chairman that were pledged as collateral.

* INDUSIND BANK: India Ratings raises long-term issuer rating to AA.

* JET AIRWAYS: Has sought additional capacity entitlements to increase services to Abu Dhabi . Parliament panel likely to oppose the company's request to increase number of seats between India and Abu Dhabi by about 400%. Plans to use Abu Dhabi as a hub for launching flights to North America, West Asia and North Africa .

* LUPIN: Expects global sales to rise 25% in the next three years with contributions from all markets

* MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM: The government has set up a panel of ministers to look at ways to revitalise the company and peer Bharat Sanchar Nigam.

* MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA: Workers' strike at the company's Igatpuri plant is likely to be called off today.

* OBEROI REALTY: Has posted net profit of 1.45 bln rupees for Jan-Mar, while its net sales stood at 3.03 bln rupees.

* ONGC: Has sought a 40-bln-rupee relief from subsidy burden in 2012-13 (Apr-Mar) on sales of gas condensates, which are not sold as crude oil. ONGC's overseas investment arm ONGC Videsh Ltd is one of the only two applicants for a fresh round of offshore bidding in Bangladesh .

* PRAJ INDUSTRIES: Promoter Chaudhari has bought 645,660 shares in the company from open market for 23.83 mln rupees.

* RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS: Has said a consortium of investors led by Samena Capital is in talks to buy the Reliance Globacom.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Plans to raise close to $1 bln from leading financial institutions by using its US shale gas reserves as collateral.

* SESA GOA: Is hopeful of securing forest clearances in a "matter of days" to resume operations in Karnataka.

* TATA MOTORS: Has lost almost 10 percentage points of market share since 2009-10 (Apr-Mar) in truck and bus sales.

* TATA POWER: To set up 28.8 MW solar plant near Satara, Maharashtra , in this financial year ending March.

* TIMEX GROUP INDIA : Promoter has extended the redemption period of preference shares by five years to Mar 24, 2018.

* VST INDUSTRIES: Has posted net profit of 347.4 mln rupees for Jan-Mar, while its net sales stood at 1.6 bln rupees.

* WIPRO: Has posted a consolidated net profit of 17.29 bln rupees in Jan-Mar, and net sales of 110.26 bln rupees. It guided $1.575 bln-$1.610 bln revenues for Apr-Jun.
