* MCLEOD RUSSEL INDIA : Arm Borelli Tea Holdings has set up a company in Kenya --McLeod Russel Africa--to engage in tea trading activities in Africa .

* MPHASIS: Promoter Hewlett-Packard has projected full-year earnings per share of $3.50-$3.60, raising the lower end by 10 cents. It forecast an EPS of 84-87 cents for May-Jul, beating analysts' expectations.

* NCC: Reported Jan-Mar consolidated net profit of 123.08 mln rupees, up nearly 167% on year. Net sales declined 4% to 19.68 bln rupees.

* NIIT TECHNOLOGIES: Is tapping regional banks and small financial institutions to address the slowdown in revenue stream from the banking, financial services and insurance segment.

* ORACLE FINANCIAL SERVICES SOFTWARE: Promoters Oracle Global ( Mauritius ) open offer for 4.43 mln shares of the company was subscribed over four times, as the offer got bids for 17.34 mln shares.

* PRESTIGE ESTATES PROJECTS: Is planning 14 mln sq ft of new launches during 2013-14 (Apr-Mar), a rise of 25.7% on year.

* PURAVANKARA PROJECTS: Promoter Ravi Puravankara will sell up to 14.1 mln shares, or 6.62% stake of the company on Friday, through offer for sale.

* RANBAXY LABORATORIES: Daiichi Sankyo, the Japanese parent of Indian pharmaceutical major, said it believed some former shareholders of the Indian company hid facts relating to the probe in the US on its practices. The company is considering downsizing its global sales force by around athird, with layoffs seen mostly in the US .

* SHANTIVIJAY JEWELS: Promoters Pradeep Kumar Godha and Rajrani Godha plan to sell 545,000 shares or 18.15% stake in the company through an offer for sale on Friday.

* STERLITE INDUSTRIES: The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has filed an affidavit in the National Green Tribunal defending its Mar 29 order to close the company's Tuticorin unit, stating that the copper smelting plant emitted toxic gases and the complaints against it were genuine.

* TATA POWER: Is eyeing small power projects in Africa and Indonesia .

* THERMAX: Has posted Jan-Mar net profit of 1.15 bln rupees, down 11.2% on year and net sales of 14.5 bln rupees, down 12.8% on year.

* VARUN INDUSTRIES: INDIAN BANK, which has an exposure of 4 bln rupees to the company, has asked its promoters to bring in 170-180 mln rupees to restructure the company's loans.
