* BANK OF BARODA : Has sought 18-bln rupees capital infusion from the government in 2013-14 (Apr-Jun).

* BHARTI AIRTEL: The Company has recruited Pankaj Madan, suspended chief financial officer of Bharti Walmart, in its finance team.

* EICHER MOTORS: Sold 3,150 units of buses and trucks in July, down 12.5% year-on-year.

* FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGIES INDIA : Reliance Capital, Birla Sunlife, APT Portfolio and several other institutional investors sold over 3.19 mln shares
of the company in bulk deals.

* GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS: Arm Snowman Logistics is planning a initial public offering of its equity shares for raising capital and has authorised a committee of directors to finalize the Draft Red Herring Prospectus.

* GLENMARK PHARMACEUTICALS: Delhi High Court has reserved its verdict on the plea of Merck Sharp and Dohme Corp challenging an earlier court order that had refused to restrain Glenmark from selling diabetes drugs--Zita and Zita Met. Has posted Apr-Jun net profit of 1.29 bln rupees, up 64.39% and net sales of 20% YoY to 65.3 bln rupees.

* GTL INFRA: Aircel may pay the company 18 bln rupees for failing to meet certain business obligations.

* HERO MOTOCORP: Has sold 487,545 vehicles during July, compared with 484,217 units in the same month last year, a marginal rise of 0.7%.

* IDEA CELLULAR: Will raise 30 bln rupees via a qualified institutional placement of shares, and issue shares worth 7.50 bln rupees to Malaysia-based Axiata Group Berhad. Apr-Jun net profit doubled year-on-year to 4.63 bln rupees, net sales increased around 19% on year to 12.38 bln rupees.

* INDIA TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORP: Government has set the floor price at 70 rupees for its offer for sale of 2.3mln shares of the company.

* INDIAN OIL CORP: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved 10% divestment of the government's stake in the company. Restored supply of subsidised cooking gas and kerosene to Bhutan after a month, after the company was told that the Ministry of External Affairs would once again offer the company subsidy on supply of the two products.

* ITC: The company will re-launch personal care brand 'Vivel', and reposition it as a skin nourishment brand.

* INDIAN HOTELS CO: The Union home ministry has issued a show-cause notice to New Delhi Municipal Council for flouting government norms on public auction to find a new operator for Taj Mansingh hotel.

* JAYPEE INFRATECH: Jaypee Sports International, which hosts the Indian formula one race, has cut prices of corporate boxes by about a quarter for the upcoming race in October.

* JET AIRWAYS: The airline will submit to the government a copy of the final agreement with Etihad that incorporates all conditions set by government agencies. Deadline to win regulatory approval for Etihad's planned $379 mln stake in company has been extended until end of August.

* JINDAL STEEL & POWER: Will cut planned investment by 40% in the next two years because of raw material shortages.

* KOLTE-PATIL DEVELOPERS: Is planning to undertake a redevelopment project at Khar (west) in Mumbai.

* LARSEN & TOUBRO: May raise 20-25 bln rupees via listing infrastructure and road project arm overseas.

* MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM: A Group of Ministers has discussed and decided on the pension liabilities for employees of the company and will now place the same before the company's trade unions.

* MUTHOOT FINANCE: Rating Agency CRISIL downgraded Muthoot Capital's rating to negative.

* NEYVELI LIGNITE CORP: The government hopes to raise 3.5 bln rupees from selling its stake in the company.

* NTPC: Is working on significantly increasing output from captive mines over the next five years, and reducing dependence on coal imports as high prices and foreign exchange volatility make it an unviable proposition. Is looking to buy distressed assets to supplement capacity growth.

* POWER GRID CORP: Apr-Jun net profit increased 20% year on year to 10.4 bln rupees. Revenues increased 23% on year to 35.6 bln rupees. Board has approved follow-on public offer of 694.4 mln shares to raise funds for its expansion programmes.

* RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS: The Supreme Court has issued notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation on arm Reliance Telecom's plea seeking recall of the apex court's April 2011 order that barred all courts in the country from entertaining any petition that could impede day-to-day trial in the 2G-spectrum allocation case.

* RELIANCE MEDIAWORKS: The company has proposed rights issue of 149 mln shares at 40 rupees per share to raise 6 bln rupees.

* STATE TRADING CORP OF INDIA : Government has set the floor price at 74 rupees for its offer for sale of 613,600 shares of the company.

* TATA TELESERVICES MAHARASHTRA : Apr-Jun net loss 1.3 bln rupees compared with 1.6 bln rupees a year ago. Net sales was flat at 6.7 bln rupees.

* TECH MAHINDRA: Brazilian subsidiary Complex IT has bagged two multi-million dollar deals in South America , for delivery of enterprise solutions for the oil and gas and banking verticals.

* TULIP TELECOM: Has completed its corporate debt restructuring process.

* UNITED SPIRITS: The spirits maker has bought back minority stake held by the Sharad Pawar family in winery joint venture 'Four Seasons wines'.
