* BINNY: Board has approved sale of Binny Engineering stake held by the company for 34.5 mln rupees.

* FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGIES ( INDIA ): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is scrutinising documents of National Spot Exchange and the company to see if there is any negligence on the part of their auditors. The Securities and Exchange Board of India will look into the circumstances that led to the auditor of the company to say the financial statement of the company for 2012-13 (Apr-Mar) cannot be trusted.

    - The Income Tax Department is investigating whether National Spot Exchange violated tax rules while transferring funds to the promoter company. Promoter Jigesh Shah said the company's auditor, Deloitte Haskins & Sells, has been asked to recast the company's accounts.

* FUTURE RETAIL: Plans to rollout its direct-selling format 'Big Bazaar Direct' in North-Eastern states and Gujarat after testing the format in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra .

* GEOJIT BNP PARIBAS FINANCIAL SERVICES: Arm Geojit Credits (P) Ltd has an exposure of 1.33 bln rupees to National Spot Exchange.

* GREAT EASTERN SHIPPING CO: Company has taken delivery of product tanker.

* HDFC Bank: Will charge 3.25% per month interest rate on credit cards from October, up from the current 3.05% and 3.15%.

* HINDUSTAN MOTORS: Is scouting for equity partners including a foreign carmaker after the demerger of its Chennai unit early this year.

* HINDUSTAN UNILEVER: Has initiated a telecalling project for urban areas and rural markets to double its direct reach.

* HINDUSTAN ZINC: Vedanta group is open to any method to acquire the remaining stake in the company and Balco, and would participate in and auction if government takes that route.

* INFOTECH ENTERPRISES: Plans to acquire at least one company in the US this year to expand in its biggest market.

* JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES: Has shortlisted two cement units in Himachal Pradesh to be put on the block and has initiated dialogues with potential suitors.

* JET AIRWAYS: And Etihad have submitted revised documents to the government seeking to allay concerns over control of the proposed venture.

* JINDAL STEEL AND POWER: Plans to set up a 7 mln tn per annum pellet plant at Angul in Odisha at an investment of around 14 bln rupees.

* LARSEN AND TOUBRO: Arm L&T Infrastructure Development Projects is considering various options to finance future growth, including an initial public offer, induction of an equity investor and asset monetisation.

* OBEROI REALTY: Promoter Vikas Oberoi will sell 11.44 mln shares of the company through offer for sale at 158 rupees a share.

* OIL INDIA: Plans to raise $900 mln through bridge loans next month to fund its acquisition of 4% stake in Mozambique Rovuma 1 block.

* ONGC: Foreign arm ONGC Videsh is in talks with PetroVietnam to rope in the company as a strategic partner in a block it owns in Southeast Asia . The company expects its output to surge by over 50% to 100 standard cubic meters a day by 2017-18 as new fields start production. The company will explore shale gas in Cambay basin in Gujarat .

* MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA: Arm Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt has inked a pact with Carzonrent Pvt to offer its e2o electric vehicles for self drive rental in three cities.

* MANGALORE CHEMICALS AND FERTILISERS: Promoter, Saroj Poddar has said that he would sell his 16% stake in the company to highest bidder.

* MARUTI SUZUKI: Plans to hike prices of all its vehicles by up to 10,000 rupees within the first week of October.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has rejected a petition by the editor of an Urdu daily seeking to be made a party in a six-year-old case related to alleged insider trading by Reliance Industries.
