* CONTAINER CORP OF INDIA : RBI has said shareholding of foreign institutional investors in the company has reached the trigger limit and any more purchases of the company's shares by FIIs would need its prior approval.

* JET AIRWAYS: The home ministry has written to the department of economic affairs that security agencies are yet to clear the deal between the company and Etihad Airways.

* JSW STEEL: IS planning to raise $600 mln though external commercial borrowings.

* JYOTI STRUCTURES: Jul-Sep net profit rose 22.5% on year to 146.3 mln rupees, and net sales increased 9.5% on year to 6.48 bln rupees. 

* KALINDEE RAIL NIRMAN: Jupiter Metal says has option to raise open offer price for company's shares to counter Texmaco's 71-rupee-a-share bid.

* STEEL STRIPS WHEELS: Posted a 31.8% rise in net profit for Jul-Sep at 73 mln rupees. Net sales for the quarter were up 3% at 2.65 bln rupees. 

* THERMAX: Posted Jul-Sep net profit of 301.67 mln rupees, down 66.87% on year, and net sales of 10.30 bln rupees, down 12.82% on year. 

* TITAN INDUSTRIES: Foreign institutional investors will need prior approval of the RBI for buying shares of the company under the Portfolio Investment Scheme. 

* TRIVENI TURBINES: Jul-Sep net profit fell 45.6% on year to 152.8 mln rupees, while net sales were down 31.3% on year to 1.23 bln rupees.
