IT Stocks Outlook for the week – 10 to 14.07.2017

The shares of information technology companies are seen trading weak next week ahead of the
announcement of corporate earnings for the June quarter.Tata Consultancy Services is scheduled to kick-start the earnings season for the IT sector by announcing its results for Apr-Jun on Jul 13. Weighed by challenges, Indian software companies are expected to report subdued growth in earnings for Apr-Jun, traditionally a strong quarter. Revenues of most companies are seen largely flat or rising only marginally, as Apr-Jun saw them struggle to close large-ticket deals in key verticals such as banking, financial services, and healthcare in the UK and US. Also, persisting uncertainties due to possible policy changes in the US under President Donald Trump, and in Europe as the UK prepares to leave the European Union, would weigh on the companies.
