Metals Stocks Outlook For The Week - 10 To 14.09.2018

Stocks of metal and mining companies will take cues from developments related to the ongoing
trade tensions between China and the US, which impacts base metal prices. The overall sentiment for equities remains positive. Markets will be shut on Thursday on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. Shares of National Aluminium Co, which have fallen 4% this week, may remain weak as prices of alumina are likely to correct further. Alumina prices fell this week as operations at the world's largest alumina refinery, Alunorte, are likely to resume soon. Shares of NMDC may sustain their recent strength on the back of price hikes undertaken by the company.
