IT Stocks Outlook For The Week - 08 To 12.10.2018

Stocks of information technology companies are expected to trade in a thin range next week with an upward bias due to weakness in the rupee against the US dollar. Information technology companies export a major chunk of their services and earn most of their revenues in dollars. A weakness in the
Indian currency bodes well for the margins of these companies. In the coming week, stocks would,
however, mostly trade in a narrow band ahead of earnings of sector bellwether Tata Consultancy
Services Ltd. TCS would kickstart the earnings season for Indian information technology companies
by announcing its results for Jul-Sep on Thursday. The company's performance would provide cues on the demand environment for the sector.
