Telecom Stocks Outlook For The Week - 26 to 30.11.2018
Despite only three major private players remaining in the telecom sector, pricing woes of companies are unlikely to subside, putting pressure on shares of mobile operators next week. Tariff pressure, especially in fourth-generation mobile services, remains as operators try to win 2G and 3G customers from each other. Weakness in the broader market is likely to add more pressure on telecom stocks. For India's largest mobile operator Vodafone Idea, the high capital expenditure on its network after completion of the merger, along with a bleak outlook on tariff, is likely to keep its financials under pressure. However, synergy benefits from the merger of Vodafone India and Idea Cellular will be a silver lining for the company.
