Pharma Stocks Outlook For The Week - 24 To 28.12.2018
Stocks of pharmaceutical companies are seen moving in a narrow range next week as trading volumes and participation of foreign institutional investors are likely to be subdued, given the start of Christmas and New Year holidays. Domestic stock market will be shut on Tuesday for Christmas. However, some buying may be seen because of news report that around 30 drug makers are planning to raise prices of medicines from January, ending an over two-year period of no price hikes, started under pressure from the Donald Trump Administration. The movement of the rupee, trends in global markets and regulatory actions by the US Food and Drug Administration and other regulators will lend cues to the sector next week.
