Stocks of automobile companies are likely to trade in a narrow range next week because investors are
awaiting the announcement of Oct-Dec earning. Market participant will also keenly track changes in the prices of passenger vehicles. Most car-makers had announced hiking prices from January; however, those at dealerships are remained unchanged from December. Shares of Tata Motors might decline next week as the company's subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover has announced that it will cut its work force by 4,500. We believe that a turnaround in the Indian operations of Tata Motors may not be able to offset Jaguar Land Rover's global weakness and the trend may continue.
