Stocks of metal companies are expected to track the broader market next week due to lack of any sector-specific triggers. Tata Steel's stocks had fallen intraday on news that the issue of the company's shut iron ore mines in Jharkhand were not addressed by the Jharkhand Cabinet in a recent meeting.
However, positive view that the mines will resume operations shortly, considering that Uranium Corp's mines in the state were allowed to open, and because the central government's thrust on the resumption of captive mines augurs well for the company.
