* BHEEMA CEMENTS: Has allotted 17,454 equity shares and 34,696 redeemable preference shares to banks against interest on term loans.

* CLARIS LIFESCIENCES: Has received the US Food and Drug Administration's approval for generic levofloxacin injection, an antibiotic.

* EVEREADY INDUSTRIES: Is looking at new categories in the consumer goods space to expand its portfolio of products. To launch transistor sets at 500 rupees for rural and semi-urban markets.

* FORTIS HEALTHCARE: Has allotted 18.8 shares of the company to International Finance Corp, on a preferential basis, at an issue price of 99.09 a share.

* GAIL ( INDIA ): Has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SHIPPING CORP OF INDIA for transportation of liquefied natural gas sourced by the company from the US . Finds buyers for its proposed supply of 25 mscmd gas at landed cost of $13.25-$13.50 mBtu.

* GODREJ PROPERTIES: Is planning to raise 7 bln rupees through a rights issue of shares to repay loans of about 5.25 bln rupees.

* IDFC: Uniquest Infra ventures, a joint venture of IDFC and Malaysian sovereign fund Khazanah, emerges as frontrunner to acquire road assets of GMR INFRASTRUCTURE.

* INDIA CEMENTS: Plans to restructure its non-core business in a bid to increase valuation of its core business being primarily cement.

* TATA MOTORS: Has launched a maintenance programme--Tata Motors Prolife--for its commercial vehicles. UK-based arm Jaguar Land Rover plans to spend 350 mln rupees to develop virtual simulation technology in a five-year collaboration with four universities in the UK .

* TATA POWER: Bags 1,200 MW power project worth $1.8 bln in Vietnam .

* YES BANK: Founder Ashok Kapoor's wife Madhu Kapoor has alleged that the bank's Chief Executive Officer Rana Kapoor has denied her family's rights and dues under share subscription agreement; has sought court intervention on the AGM scheduled Saturday.
