* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Has told the Supreme Court in an affidavit that it intends to challenge the "entire approach" of the government on gas pricing, and is planning to invoke arbitration against the Rangarajan panel's gas pricing formula, saying it was inconsistent with the production sharing contract.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: A proposal to force the company to give up 86% of eastern offshore KG-D6 gas block, including 8 gas discoveries worth at least $8 bln, has been put up to oil minister Veerappa Moily.
