Metals Stocks Outlook For The Week - 28.05.2018 To 01.06.2018
Stocks of metal and mining companies will take cues from the movement in the broader market next
week. Sentiment for steel companies is seen positive after Tata Steel's buyout of Bhushan Steel and a
robust outlook given by companies. Shares of Bhushan Steel, which have surged 54% in nine sessions,
are likely to continue moving higher. Steel Authority of India will be in focus as it details March quarter
and full year earnings on Wednesday. The company is likely to report a net profit of 5.65 bln
rupees for the March quarter, with sales seen at 171.22 bln rupees. Vedanta will remain in the
spotlight following the recent turmoil at its copper unit in Thoothukudi. The Tamil Nadu
government is looking to permanently close the company's smelter on environmental grounds.
