Metals Stocks Outlook For The Week - 29.10.2018 To 02.11.2018
The September quarter earnings of Hindalco Industries, Vedanta and Steel Authority of India will be
in focus next week. Vedanta, which is scheduled to announce its earnings on Wednesday, is likely
to see an over 12% sequential fall in its consolidated net profit due to high costs of production of aluminium and zinc, at a time when prices of both metals have been weak. Both Hindalco Industries and Steel Authority of India will detail earnings on Friday. Hindalco's net profit is seen down by nearly a fourth on quarter, while sales is expected to fall 3%. SAIL's net profit is seen surging nearly 30% on quarter, while its sales are likely to rise 3%.
