Auto Stocks Outlook For The Week - 26 to 30.11.2018
Stocks of automobile companies are seen subdued next week as investors remain concerned that sales in the festival season have not been as good as expected and Oct-Dec earnings of automakers may, thus, turn out to be muted. Stockists and dealers have seen higher-than-usual inventory this month, even after festival season sales, which hints at a muted demand this time around. Uncertainty over Brexit and concerns of slowing global growth may keep automobile stocks weak globally, and could spill over to auto shares in the domestic market as well. Although some progress in the trade dialogue between the US and China could lift sentiment, investors will closely eye developments at the summit of Group of 20 countries in Buenos Aires over the weekend.
