Pharma Stocks Outlook For The Week - 26 to 30.11.2018
Stocks of pharmaceutical companies are expected to move in a narrow range next week due to lack of major triggers, although, a possible agreement between the UK and the European Union for the former's impending exit from the bloc may aid some drugmakers. The pharmaceutical companies have become attractive again after the recent correction, as the long-term prospects of the sector remain positive. The Nifty Pharma index has fallen nearly 5% this month. This week, however, the index outperformed the benchmark Nifty 50. The Nifty Pharma index ended flat for the week compared with a 1.5% fall in the Nifty 50. Cues from broader market are unlikely to be supportive for the sector with the benchmark indices expected to fall next week, even though the losses may be moderate.
