Stocks of information technology companies are expected to trade in a narrow range during the
next week as likely depreciation in the rupee against the dollar would offset the downside seen due
to strengthening of the domestic currency. The expected depreciation, however, may not be significant hence information technology stocks may remain under pressure. A strong rupee against the US dollar does not bode well for the Indian IT companies because they earn a major share of their revenue in dollar terms. Apart from the movement in the rupee, investors would also keep a watch on the broad market trend.
