* PURAVANKARA PROJECTS: Has launched a luxury housing project in Bengaluru with 300 flats priced between 6,500 rupees and 7,000 rupees a square feet.

* RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS: Is in talks with domestic lenders to raise 65 bln rupees, which it will have to repay over seven years.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Telecom arm may buy a stake in Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Infratel in a complex deal that also includes leasing as many as 50,000 towers. Has dropped plans to sell its textile unit, which owns the brand 'Only Vimal'. The company's plan to sell stake in its gas transport arm, Reliance gas transport infrastructure has hit a hurdle due to steep valuation differences between the buyer and the seller.

* SANDUR MANGANESE: The Supreme Court has permitted the company to resume mining operations in Karnataka, subject to a few environmental conditions.

* SESA GOA: Has posted consolidated net profit of 4.97 bln rupees for Oct-Dec, down 28.18% from a year ago.
