Capital Goods Stocks Outlook For The Week - 24 To 28.09.2018
Stocks of companies in the capital goods sector are seen moving in a narrow range next week after
falling around 2.2%-7.6% this week. The S&P BSE Capital Goods index however outperformed the
Nifty falling just 2.7% compared to the Nifty's 3.2% fall this week. Stocks are seen weak in the short
to medium term due to a dearth of large orders in the sector, a weakness in the broader market, and lack of cues for recovery of orders from the private sector. The stocks in the sector will also track the broader markets. Next week indices are seen falling as investors continue to book profits following the risk aversion caused by thight liquidity in the corporate commercial paper market.
