Cement Stocks Outlook For The Week - 05 To 09.11.2018
Shares of cement companies are seen trading on a mixed note next week in the absence of major triggers, and any movement is expected to be stock-specific. Most cement stocks are looking positive on technical charts. ACC and Ambuja (Cements Ltd) are looking good and may gain next week. UltraTech (Cement Ltd) and Grasim (Industries Ltd) are likely to trade sideways. There are concerns on earnings of cement companies due to low industry utilisation, large capacity addition, and continued weakness in the real estate market. However, Sagar Cements Ltd Executive Director S. Sreekanth Reddy this week said cement prices in the country, particularly in the southern region, may rise, as demand is expected to increase post Diwali. Shares of JK Cement Ltd and India Cements Ltd will be in focus next week, as the companies are scheduled to detail their Jul-Sep earnings on Saturday and Friday, respectively.
