Shares of companies in the capital goods sector are seen rising next week due to positive order
inflow guidance by sector heavyweight Larsen & Toubro Ltd. L&T announced its earnings for Jul-Sep on Wednesday and said it expects good order inflow into the sector in the coming
months. The week ahead will be a truncated one, as the market will be shut on Wednesday and Thursday on account of Diwali. Receding concerns about the impact of a trade deal between the US and China will also bode well for metals. Shares of power companies will be in focus as they are expected to win large orders next month.
