* BINANI INDUSTRIES: Is in talks with financial investors like JP Morgan to sell up to 40% stake in arm Binani Cement.

* COAL INDIA: The Children's Investment Fund Management (UK) LLP has alleged that the company has hoarded cash far above any realistic business needs. Coal ministry has sought exemption for the company's employees from prosecution for violation of environment norms while executing mining projects.

* JINDAL STEEL AND POWER: Rio Tinto group's Hismelt technology steel plant in Australia is being sent to China and not the Jindal Steel's Odisha plant and
their original deal is now being revised.

* KINGFISHER AIRLINES: Has started paying salaries to its employees and is approaching the aviation regulator seeking a licence renewal. Airports Authority of India may consider giving a no objection certificate to the airline if it clears dues of 1.17 bln rupees and gives bank guarantee for the remaining.

* LANCO INFRATECH: Has approached its Malaysian partner Genting to sell stake in three of its power projects.

* MAHINDRA LIFESPACE DEVELOPERS: Foreign institutional investors' holding in the company touched 27.99% on Feb 15.

* MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA : Expects sales growth of 6% in 2012-13 (Apr-Mar), and has ruled out hiking prices in the coming months. New York-based Jeffries & Co Inc has rated the company's shares as 'buy' with a target price of 1,891 rupees.

* NTPC: Signing of a fuel supply agreement with COAL INDIA may be further delayed due to divergence on the issue of coal's calorific value.

* PANTALOON RETAIL INDIA : Demerger of the company's fashion division along with that of FUTURE VENTURES INDIA into a new entity has been opposed by an investor activists group.
